Hello World – A New Year, A New Blog

Hey everyone!

Welcome to my very first blog post! First of all, Happy New Year! I hope 2026 brings love, understanding, respect, and peace to everyone – people and animals alike. 🌱💙

A little about me: I’m a full-stack developer and DevOps engineer, mainly focused on backend, server setup, and system integration. I also have some experience with frontend, but my real passion is backend and DevOps. I’ve always been fascinated by technology – ever since I first got my hands on a computer, I’ve loved figuring out how things work. Countless times, I’ve spent hours hunting a bug, only to discover it was caused by a tiny semicolon. 😅 Moments like that are frustrating at the time, but looking back, they’re also some of the best learning experiences.

I started this blog to share knowledge in a simple, practical way – no long academic explanations, just clear tips and solutions you can actually use. My philosophy is: “Start simple, make it work, then build from there.” Backend and DevOps are where I get the most satisfaction – automating tasks, setting up servers, optimizing workflows, and solving real-world problems. Frontend work is something I do as well, but it’s more of a supporting role in my projects.

Through this blog, I hope to share useful insights from my day-to-day work: server setups, DevOps tricks, automation tips, backend solutions, and practical guidance for anyone tackling similar challenges. I’ll probably also sprinkle in some funny or frustrating moments – because tech doesn’t always go as planned, and sometimes the solution is surprisingly simple. 😄

If you have questions, suggestions, or corrections, I’d love to hear from you at kontakt@zlatan.dk. Your feedback might even inspire future posts, and I enjoy seeing how others approach similar problems.

Thanks for reading! I’m excited to share my experiences, projects, and small technical hacks with you. This is the start of an exciting journey – and I hope you’ll join me along the way!

Wishing you all the best,
Zlatan Smajic
